Economics
The Economics Department is long established at William Ellis. We teach Economics at AS and A2 Levels. Over the years, many students have gone on to universities to study Economics, Accountancy, Law and Finance and other related subjects.
As an Economics student, you will develop an understanding of the behaviour of consumers and producers. You will also understand how the economy works and is managed to achieve economic objectives.
Economics students, as well as developing knowledge and understanding, also develop skills of analysis and evaluation.
It is expected that an Economics student regularly reads the business and financial pages in quality newspapers such as The Independent.
