Apprenticeship
Want to earn while you learn? Perhaps the Camden Apprenticeship scheme is the thing for you!
The Building Maintenance Division of Camden Housing and Adult Social Care Department is recruiting for Craft Apprentices.

We have an exciting new opportunity for you to train, earn and learn. As part of Building Maintenance Divisions commitment to maintaining local communities, Camden Council along with the College of North West London (CNWL) are offering an opportunity to people aged between 16-18 who are Camden residents to become apprentice Plumbers, Carpenters/Joiners, Electricians.
The apprenticeships last 2 to 4 years. During the programme you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience working for the Building Maintenance Division whilst pursuing an NVQ course in your specialist area.
If you are interested in getting on the Inside Track, then apply on line at www.camden.gov.uk/jobs. Then go to “key word search“ and type in Apprentice followed by your area of interest (e.g. Apprentice Plumber) Closing date is 11 May 2008.

If you would like to find out more about this programme, please contact Bart Zonneveld on 020 7974 4263.
