There are links to the QCA schemes of work for KS3 which we use in conjunction with the Exploring Science textbooks and resources. We regularly test the students to monitor their progress. They are given a 'currently achieving level' from these tests, and we use these to set the students targets for the coming year. There are useful revision links that can be used at home to help with revision.

We have been implementing the new Science Strategy at KS3 to raise achievement, monitor student progress and to target teaching and learning to the students' needs. The scheme of work builds on the students' previous learning from primary school.
